What is different about Viking Ocean Cruises?
Viking Ocean Cruises offer travelers the opportunity to sail to ports that larger ships can’t reach. The size of their ships, carrying just 930 guests, gives the line greater maneuverability, allowing them to dock where mega liners cannot. The line has secured prime central dock space in some of the world’s great cities; many of them seldom visited ports. Giving passengers a chance to explore and enjoy each port of call, with just a short walk from the ship.
Viking has designed their small ship fleet to bring travelers closer to the world’s cultures. You won’t find a casino, children or umbrella drinks on these ships. Viking offers a cruise fare that includes everything you need, from meals and beverages to shore excursions and Wi-Fi.
The line travels to many out of the way stops with few sea days in between. They offer trips to the Mediterranean, Norway, the Baltic Sea, Caribbean, the Americans and a once in a life time voyage a World Cruise spanning 5 continents,35 countries and 66 ports taking you from Havana to Sydney, Hong Kong to London and more (this is a bucket list trip for sure!).
Onboard enrichment, featuring destination experts on topics ranging from cuisine and culture to history and geography is offered on each cruise. All the menus on board have been created by the chefs to match each cruise's region
Each ship has 11 dining venues, a spa, two pools; one with a retractable glass roof and the other, located aft, with an infinity edge. All cabins on board are larger than the industry average and have balconies.
